Mr. Lovekumar Jadhav (Secretary, All India Cricket Association) is likely on 26th Feb 2013. All India Gramin Cricket Association is registered organisation under the provisions of societies Reg. Act 1860, on 13.04.2004. Aim and object of our organisation is to arrange the tournaments for rural area, to promote the players from rural area for playing cricket at state and national level. Our area of operation is in 8 states those are Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgadh, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat and Karnatak. At about 13000 registered cricketers are affiliated with Aakhil Maharashtra Rajya Gramin Leather Cricket Association. All India Gramin Leather Cricket Association is working for rural area since 2004. Gramin players also have a good talent in cricket but they are not getting proper attention and exposure for participation in ‘Ranji Trophy’. As the B.C.C.I. giving permission to play in ‘Ranji Trophy’ for different city teams like, Mumbai City Team, Raliway Team, Government Employee Team, Baroda City Team, Rajkot Team, Hydrabad Team etc. So, Aakhil Maharashtra Rajya Gramin Leather Cricket Association filed a writ petition in the High Court of Judicature of Bombay Bench at Aurangabad for participation of team of rural players in ‘Ranji Trophy’.
